Interview/Giveaway: Elizabeth Mueller (Darkspell)

Okay, I know these are the most posts I have ever done in one day, but hang in there because this is really awesome!!


Elizabeth is currently touring the blogosphere with her coolsauce book, Darkspell and she is awesome enough to allow me to open the tour with a coolsauce interview and giveaway! Yayyy!

Q: So. Tell us a little bit about Darkspell.

A: It's a story about girl who believes she's everything ordinary, and falls in love with a boy from her dreams, but he is no accident. Alex is sworn to protect Winter from the darkness that haunts her, seeking her destruction. How will Winter feel once she discovers who Alex really is? How will she feel once she discovers an even darker secret she knew she never had?
(You know what book that reminds me of? Masquerade.)

Q: I'm in love with the cover! Who made it?

A: The cover model is my 12 year-old son! I uploaded his photo into my computer's Paint program and turned him 17. Jaimey Grant at An Authors Art did the rest! We make a great team!

(OH MY GOSH, really??! Can't believe it!)

Q: If you could be one character in your book, who would it be?

A: I would be Winter. She overcomes so many obstacles and faces promising adventures in Darkspell. I admire how she follows her own heart.

Q: How did you spend New Year's Eve? Didja stay up till midnight? Watch the ball drop perhaps?
A: I spent it editing my next novel way into the wee hours of the morning! I actually stayed up till 1:30 am!
(Wow! Now, that's driven!)

Q: Got any New Year's resolutions you wanna share?

A: Yes! First and foremost, I need to gain back balance into my crazy life. I miss my old routine, but the mind is a powerful thing, I can do anything! The next thing is get Rockstar, my YA contemporary romance published. I have many upcoming events crowding my calender for the first part of the year.
